Some cameras don't have a traditional place to attach a camera strap, but luckily they were made to mount on a tripod. For these cameras our tripod-mount wrist strap will work perfectly. The leather wraps around a nylon bushing with a machine screw firmly bonded inside. This lets you move the strap freely around while the screw stays secure.
This strap is also useful for medium format folders, TLRs, and SLRs (if they don't get too big!) I use the strap on my left wrist and leave my right hand free for adjusting the lens. Of course I'm right handed, so those who are left handed might switch.

Screw type

The Low profile screw is made from stainless steel and can be tightened with a coin.

The Black thumb screw is larger and easily tightened with your fingers. It is made with a Shear-Loc® knob (also made in the USA) assembled on a stainless steel socket head cap screw.

Colors
|
Leather color: Made of Latigo belt leather, my handmade camera straps are tough, flexible, and pliable. They have a natural luster that only improves with age and softens with use. Keep in mind that there are always variations in leather. The color and texture can vary from hide to hide. Please allow for this.

Wrapping cord color: You can choose between 16 different wrap colors.

Additional Accessories
Wrist pad
|
I often like to hang my camera from my wrist and if it's a heavy camera, a little extra support comes in handy. Wrist pads are 1" wide and 8 3/4" long and also have beveled edges. They are made from the same leather as the straps and are available in the same colors. Many of the smaller cameras are light weight and don't really need a pad. The pads can be used for a better grip, but sometimes keeping the strap minimal and sleek is more useful. If you want a wrist pad it must be ordered with the strap. They unfortunately can't be added after the strap has been assembled. Wrist pads are an additional $15.

Tripod reducer bushing
|
The screws on our straps have a standard 1/4-20 thread, but some cameras have a 3/8-16 threaded hole. I can provide a tripod reducer bushing for $5. It fits into the 3/8 tripod-mount and converts it into the standard 1/4-20 thread size. It also allows you to use a standard tripod.
